Is ADSL Broadband available in
my area? This is the first question that should come to mind after you have decided to get ADSL Broadband.
If the telephone exchange in
your area is not ADSL or DSL enabled or doesn't support ADSL Broadband, you will not be able to get ADSL
Broadband until the situation changes.

check if the telephone exchange in your area supports ADSL Broadband, and if it doesn't, check whether it will
support ADSL Broadband in the future, and if it will, when in the future:

Alternatively, it is recommended to contact Telkom directly (10210), because although the
telephone exchange in your area might be ADSL or DSL enabled, it doesn't necessarily mean that ADSL services are
available in the relevant area. This is in most instances due to cable theft or simply because it is not
economically feasible to do so.
