ADSL Broadband: Altech Technology Concepts plans to enter SME and consumer markets

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 11 August 2010

Altech Technology Concepts (ATC), known as Technology Concepts before the JSE-listed Allied Technologies Limited (Altech) acquired full ownership of the company last year, is planning to enter the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and consumer (residential) markets though the develop and launch of various new ADSL Broadband and other telecoms services.

High quality services at affordable rates…

ATC is developing high quality ADSL Broadband and other telecoms services which they plan to launch in November this year. They do not expect the relevant services to be the cheapest in the market place, but promise that the services will be of high quality and will be offered at affordable rates.

The above should be welcomed by most Average Joes, especially those of us who are sick and tired of dirt cheap telecoms products and services of inferior or low quality.  ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is of the opinion that most of us try to save money by paying as little as possible for a given product or service, but when it means we have to accept low quality, it is 9 times out of 10 better to pay extra for a product or service of better or higher quality than to accept low quality. It’s after all no secret that one can subscribe to an Uncapped ADSL Broadband service in South Africa for less than R200 per month, but then you have to prepare yourself for punitive measures such as: Shaping, throttling, soft capping, the running of time based thresholds and what have you!

In other words, ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) will most definitely welcome the new ADSL Broadband services ATC plans to offer, especially if they can manage to offer high quality at affordable rates.
